My love for experiencing and living great moments is only surpassed by my passion for capturing these memories. Photography is my art. It has been my creative release for almost 10 years.
Coming from humble beginnings, my father worked hard supporting us growing up. I am blessed beyond words to have such loving parents and a best friend in my brother. My childhood memories are of the sort that I can only wish to provide for my own children. I recall putting together a slide show to present at my brother’s 18th birthday and being so sad that we didn’t seem to have enough photos in our family albums to do him justice. It was only in our teens that we acquired our first family camera. It was at that moment that I came to realise the sacred value in photography and sharing the joys associated.
In my former years I operated a business sourcing goods from China. My appetite for discovering other cultures has never ceased. However, as wonderful as business could be it was never enough to deter me from my love affair with photography. In 2004 I purchased my first digital SLR. It was not just another gadget (I have always had too many). It really was the key to a passage that has genuinely led me to a career with an incomparable sense of fulfillment. With the love and support from my darling Maria I am always smiling, and my passion and willingness to do the right thing by friends and family has helped me get to where I wish to be with Photography. I love meeting people, forming meaningful relationships and enjoy contributing to celebrations so much. Photography has been natural and complimentary in my life.
I met Shireen Hammond, an incredible person and perhaps an even more impressive photographer (or is that the other way around?) whilst she was conducting one of her famous AIPP inspirational seminars. Shireen’s charm and zest for life is infectious. Like many photographers out there I wanted to be bestowed with the honour of joining the Field of Vision team. With Shireen’s comprehensive and meticulous training I am positively here to provide you with an exceptional Field of Vision experience.
